Plans are underway to rebuild Southern Ocean Lodge which was destroyed in the 2020 bushfires. Whilst it’s currently too early to estimate a date for re-opening the recreation of the clifftop retreat is our immediate focus.
We are committed to taking a leading role in whatever ways we can to help rebuild the tourism industry on Kangaroo Island. As the island recovers, now more than ever the resilient local community is keen to welcome visitors and the island is very much open for business.
